consecutive d and c

hi, I had d and c due to miscarriage on dec-2,2009 after that under gone mensuration in 27 days(dec 29th) and the bleeding lasted for 10 days.
we had not taken precaution after 20th day of LMP(dec 29). In the end of January 2010 had pregnancy test which was positive for pregnancy. on the same day had some dark brown spots followed by light bleeding for 5 days. Again had the pregnancy test at the end of 9th day after light bleeding, which also tested positive.

Now i am confused, could you let me know is it good to have d and c again(within 2.5 months) as this pregnancy is unplanned and is there any risk involved in future pregnancy and child birth?

i would try to let things go naturally. it sounds like they may have already. you dont want to cause unnecessary scaring which is possible with d&c (usually with later miscarriages). take another test in a few days.

I had 2 D&C's within a week of one another. The first one did not remove everything that needed to be removed and I had severe hemorrhaging. It was horrible. They did a second D&C within a week of the first and I healed up in no time. Hubby and I got pregnant again after 2 cycles (suggested time to wait by my surgeon) and we  are 34 weeks preg with a healthy baby this time. D&C's are not like they used to be. My doc told me they dont even scrape anymore - so they are much safer than they were in the past. Hope this helps. Also, if you dont have the second procedure, there could be chances of infection if your body does not naturally reject what is in it. Good Luck!

It shouldn't be any future problems just as long as they are 1st trimester d&c.but if I were you if your not ready for a kid you should get on birth control so that you won't have to worry.but after you get this 1 done jus have the doc do an exam to check after you heal..
