contractions/cramping in back every 6 mins???!!!

I had my membrane sweep yesterday and had brown discharge throughout the night and this morning. Now I have dull lower back pressure and it feels like strong menstrual cramps every 6 mins. What is this??? Contractions???

Good luck! I hope you are luckier than i was, i went earlier with back pain and contractions about 5 mins apart...and got sent home after 3 hours of monitoring :/ because my cervix wouldnt dilate.
I hope they kept you!!!

At l&d right now. This back labor is no fun. They r definitely contractions.....still at a 2 tho. Pray for progress. May send me home if I dont get to a 4 in an hour.

I'd go to l&d and get checked anyways just incase keep us updated and hope u have ur little one in ur arms soon(:

The contractions will get much worse as time goes on, but the beginning stage they can be bearable. If there is a pattern, that's when you know you are probably in labor.

Ive been timing them and they are pretty much a pattern. But they dont hurt horrible...is that normal. I thought u cant talk thru them or can barely move??? Or is that at the end???

Oh teah those r early contractions. Thats how mine started out the day after my membrane sweep n i was in labor!  Goodluck!!

They hurt but are no unbearable. Im a ftm and dont know what true labor is like....anyone yhink its time to call my dr or L&D???
