could i be pregnant?

I've been on birth control for years, and just stopped the pill in October.  I've been having unprotected sex and I'm wondering now if I may be pregnant.  My last period was Nov 11-14.  On Nov 27th, I've started having these weird feelings in my tummy, kind of a dull cramp, with a feeling that something is pulling on my belly button from the inside.  The pain has been mostly on the left side of my tummy.  I took a home pregnancy test on Nov 30th, came out negative.  However, the pains still have not subsided.  On Dec 1st, I started feeling bloated and on Dec 2nd, while sitting at my desk at work, I got this sharp pain in my tummy, which hurt more when I stood up.  Feels like my tummy was being stretched whenever I moved.  Today is Dec 5th and still the same dull cramp feeling.   I also had this creamy white discharge.  I don't want to take a test yet, as I am scheduled to get my period at the end of next week.  Could these pains be implantation pains or am I just over-reacting to pre-menstrual pains?

Thanks Heather.  I'm going to take another test on Dec 8th, which is within the 4-5 days before my period is supposed to start.  I have one of those First Response tests which is supposed to be able to measure the HCG up to 5 days before the missed period.  My periods are always on time so if for some reason it comes out negative, and I don't end up starting my period, I'm probably going to have a blood test done.  I can't handle the suspense!!  Wish me luck!

You could for sure be pregnant.
I was on the pill for 10 years, stopped taking it and was pregnant 3 weeks later. Didn't even have a period.  Just be aware that because you were on the pill, if you are pregnant, they will have a very hard time pin pointing your due date.  You could have ovulated early or later in your cycle.  I thought I was farther along that I was.  If you are not pregnant, you should wait a cycle or two just so you won't have to go through that (I had a 6 week ultrasound and they couldn't see anything turned out they wouldn't because I was way earlier but I had a good week or two of worrying).  Good luck and keep us posted :)
