could it be twins

I had hcg  levels checked at 3 weeks 6 days and came back at 25. I had them checked again at 5 weeks and 5 days and they came back at 7460. Do you think this is high for a single pregnancy or could it possibly be twins?

It just depends really at 5 weeks 6 days my HCG levels were not that high and I am having twins I think it just depends on the woman you HCG  levels can always vary so I don't think without and u/s to say for sure you can go on the HCG levels.  Congrats on your pregnancy.

My levels with this pregnancy have been more than doubling every 24-36 hours. On a day when they should have been 282, they were 589, and when they should have been 4712, they were 8140. My levels at 6w1d were 28,583. I've already had four ultrasounds, at 7 1/2 weeks, and they've only seen one baby.

At 6 weeks 3 days mine were 21898.

at 5w3d I had levels of 11000 and at 5w6d they were 32000 and I only had one.
