cramping and light bleeding

I am 26 years old and found out 2 weeks ago I was pregnant. I have been in for blood work 3 times now for my HCG count and it doesn't appear to be good. The first time it was 27, the second time 38 and then the third time 2 days later it was 91. I have an appt to go back and get my blood checked again on Friday (tomorrow). Last night, however I had some cramping and a little brownish blood. Today I feel completely fine. Does nayone have any info for me or has this ever happenned to anyone before?

Thanks. I am doing okay. I was actually on the pill and got pregnant so it wasn't really planned. Still sad though as I am  27 and Ryan is 31, but someday soon. You all will see me again. Good luck in your pregnancys and hope all goes well for you!! Merry Christmas!!

I went back for my last blood draw and my levels dropped. Unfortunately I mis-carried over the weekend. Good Luck to all of you!!! and Congrats!!

I am on the third day of cramping and a little spotting and I am 5 weeks. Anyone else have this happen for 3 days. Not super bad cramps, and browninsh spotting not bright blood. I am so nervous though, it just doesn't seem normal, especially 3 days in a row. Anyone?

Actually, I am on prometrium right now. I was put on it right when my first count came back at 27. I am just so nervous and scared. Every time I cramp and bleed a little I think I am about to mis-carry. I am sure the pills are helping. I am just really hoping for a good blood test tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me!! :)

Have you had your progesterone checked as well? Low progesterone will cause the uterine lining to thin out and tell your body you're not pregnant. They have supplements if that is the cause of your bleeding.

HOWEVER, a lot of women bleed in pregnancy and everything turns out fine. Cramps are a normal pregnancy symptom as well.

I have light cramping again right now and went to the bathroom and a little spotting again. Was your crapming like having your period cramping and as long as it isn't bright red blood I should be okay? Every minute of every day and sit and worry. My blood test tomorrow can't come soon enough. UGH!!! For some reason this cramping and spotting just doesn't seem normal. Am I paranoid?

Yeah, I guess it's a good sign that my levels went up almost triple the thirs time around, but it is also scary that my results were so low the first time. All I can do is stay positive and keep your words of encouragement in my mind. I appreciate the info and it does make me feel a little better. Just praying for high numbers tomorrow. This is my first pregnancy also, and I am now 18 weeks 2 days, and the entire 1st trimester I bled and cramped off and on.  I went to the Dr. as well as the ER many times b/c I was so nervous, now that I'm in the second trimester, I am fine... my Dr. said as long as the HCG levels are doubling every week or so, then that is a good sign.  I still get totally nervous every time something new happens (or doesn't happen like the books say it should), but I am really trying to remember that every pregnancy is different and if you trust your Dr. (and God, of course) then you should let them do all the fussing and worrying and you should try your best to relax and enjoy everything.

I had lost all hope. I had a irregular sac, a low hb in the beginning, bleeding, cramping, and the baby hadnt grown in 8days..... My levels were very high but not doubling in 2 or 3 days more like 5. The doct said i would probably miscarry but if i didnt i should come back in 4wks... well i went home and thought about it and wasnt going to wait that long to find out if my baby had died. I demanded another u/s and apt. I got my wish. at 9wks and 4days i went back the sac was perfect, the hb significantly increased, my bleeding had stopped, and the baby was perfect measuring 8wks 6days(which is ok u/s can be off +/- 5days) Dont feed so much into levels unless they are decreasing. if they are increasing you might just be ok, no garuntee but still. Get used to the blood work there will be lots of it.

Thank you so much. I have been so nervous and didn't seem to find anyone who had gone through the same thing. It's frustrating as with my first 2 tests it didn't look good, then with the third one my nurse and Dr were shocked that is almost tripled. I am getting pretty sick of having my blood drawn every other day though. As long as this cramping and light bleeding seems to be normal, I will stay positive. :)

your 3rd blood draw looks fine, it doubleds. i bled and cramped wk 6 and 7 of this pregnancy. my baby is fine as of right now
