cramping??? need some reassurance

Hi Ladies,

so after having 2 MC's in the past and being pregnant again, sometimes i can be a naroctic mess.  well i am 7 weeks 2 days, saw a healthy heartbeat last week but today i am having some minor cramps.  they are not anything that has me doubled over but they have been off and on since this morning.  they hurt the most when i cough or sneeze.  i called my doctor and they told me not to worry that this is normal.  has this happened to any of you ladies?  i just need some reassurance that things are ok and normal?

thanks

I've been through the whole missed m/c thing too so I understand where your worry comes from.  When I was between 7-14 weeks I got period like cramps all the time and now I'm 24 weeks.. It happens because of what you said above, your uterus growing and stretching just try not to worry I hope everything works out fine, and I'm sure it will.. Good Luck

thank you ladies.  the part that worries me is because my last 2 MC's, i never bled.  i literally held the baby inside without a heartbeat, so bleeding is not a normal MC sign for me.  that is why this is extra worrisome.  i am just praying that these are normal cramps.  they do not hurt badly, they are just very ackward and scary.  i am not bent over in pain, nor do they last more than a few minutes each, but i have had them on and off all day.  i notice i have them more when i am hungry or too full.

unless you start bleeding or having a bad yellow discharge no need to worry according to my doctor

I had pains back then too, and still do as well. I am also 14 weeks pregnant and I big worry wort!  I freaked out many times because of cramping and ran to the doctors. Even when people told me it was normal I still couldn't help but worry and wonder if my situation was different.  I just started to cramp right now when I was writing this! I think it is a normal part of pregnancy. My doctor told me not to worry unless I started to bleed. Hope this helps!

I have had to m/c's, and I am now 14 weeks pregnant. When I was between 6-8 weeks pregnant I had pretty good AF cramps fairly consistently. Still to this day I have AF type cramps frequnetly. My baby is doing great with a healthy hb, I think it is all growing pains.

I am a chronic worry wort, you arent alone!  Hang in there, congratulations!!

If your doctor isn't worried then you shouldn't be.  The worst thing to do is stress out.  It could simply be your body adjusting to you being pregnant.  Just because you lost two (and I am so sorry for your losses) does not mean anything is going to happen to this one.  Keep in mind, at this point, you have NO control, it is out of your hands, try to stay calm and positive.  It is probably nothing.  Remember that women show signs of pregnancy diffrently, some are sick, some faint, some are achy or crampy, some go through mood swings, some get huge, some don't ever even look huge and pregnant, some women have no symptoms at all (those lucky ladies).  Pregnancy is not for the faint of heart, it is stressful, tiring, and really no fun but it is worth it and for some reason, we women look forward to each change and new pain or uncomfortable development because it means our baby is growing and developing.  So, hang in there and if it makes you feel better to put your feet up do so.  What will be will be.  Hopefully what will be is that you will have a baby boy or girl in about 33 weeks :D
