cramps

I am 4w5d pregnant with my first baby and am having cramping on and off. Last night it was more than usual, I'm scared it's a bad sign or that I'm going to lose the baby. Is it normal to have cramps? If so how extreme before it's really worrisome?

Cramping in early pregnancy can be normal.  Make sure you stay hydrated enough if you are not it can make it worse.  Good luck.

Cramps are completely normal, i had the same thing around that time. The cramps come from your uterus stretching.

I had some early on too. I was told cramps by themselves are okay, and bleeding by itself is sometimes alright, it's the combination of the two that are bad. I think it's just your body adjusting to the baby.
