cravings!

I don't know if this is considered pica, but I keep getting cravings to smell/drink nail polish remover. It's so weird!!! I've never actually smelled or drank it, but does anyone know why this happens?

Wow... Ive never gone through pica and defintely glad I havent. Though the smell of gas is good but I wouldnt drink or huff it o.o

I was so anemic they gave me blood transfusions. Not fun, but it helped

They give shots if you get severly anemic.

I really hope I'm not severely anemic, because I don't take pills so I wouldn't know how to get extra iron beside through diet.

Yeah I used to buy bags daily of ice I loved it soo much. I went to my doc and she asked me how my cravings were going and I told her I ate ice all day so she checked me for anemia and I was.

No not gasoline lol, but I do crave crushed ice... Not really the ice but the crunchiness of it.

That's pica. Ask your dr about it. Last time I ate so much ice. I was chewing 8 64 ounce cups a day, and ended up shutting my system down a few times. This time I wake up chewing my pillow and blankets. I'm not sure what it is lol

yes! do you also crave gasoline? I had to give my mom all of my acetone so I wouldn't be huffing it, it just smells so delicious.

It does sound like pica, I would definitely talk to your doctor about it.
