cycles post d&c - CONFUSED

I've been reading posts on this site for about six weeks now - trying to find real-world information about TTC after a D&C.  Here is my story which leads to my question:

I had a D&C on Feb 1 after an u/s confirmed a blighted ovum.  I bled for one night and had no other bleeding/physical symptoms following the procedure.  My DH and I resumed intimacy after about 10 days, and I was declared "healed" at my two-week post-op appt.  I got a period on Feb 25, so assuming that the day of the D&C was cycle day 1, I had a 25 day cycle, which is pretty normal for me.

My DH and I have now resumed TTC, with the blessing of my Dr. and I have been using OPK tests to determine ovulation.  I began testing on CD7 and have been testing twice daily since (about 11am and 6:30pm).  I am now on CD19 and have still not gotten a positive result.  On CD9 I got what could have been positive, but not sure since all the directions say "as dark or darker" to get a true positive.  It kind of looked like a fade line (one side darker than the other), and it was the closest to positive looking of them all.

Could I have missed my surge even though testing 2x/day?  Could I be having a looong cycle (I've never had one before...I've always had a 25-27 day cycle).  Could I have not ovulated this cycle?  I'm beginning to feel very frustrated and depressed and a little obsessed.

Please help me sort this out.

Just an update for my friends who replied to my question.  I got a BFP over the weekend - Happy Easter to me!  I guess I did ovulate somewhere in there and some way, some how, we got the right mix.  Thanks for your advice!

Thanks - very helpful to hear other experiences - and I haven't been able to find much on post d&c cycles beyond the first one.  I've just been waiting and waiting and waiting for that darn test to come with two lines!  And I'm having the o-pain, mittelshmertz, just like I always do when o-ing.  But maybe it's all wishful thinking.  I think I may be a little too much of a control freak to continue on this path - we may have to let nature take its course as well.  THANK YOU!

I am no expert but I am leaning towards the possibility that you many not have ovulated this cycle. You don't ovulate every cycle and since you had a m/c you cycles may be messed up for awhile. I had a d&c at the end of november, declared healed at two week appt. and resumed ttc. It took six weeks for my period to show up and then next cycle was again very long and not the norm for me at all it was 42 days and usually I am on a 28 day cycle. This past cycle I had some brown discharge mid cycle which I am hoping is bleeding from ovulation which i had the last time we got pregnant. I don't use opk so I have no idea when I am ovulating just trying to let nature take it's course although keeping the idea in mind that I may have just not been ovulating for the last two months makes me feel a lot better in that we hadn't gotten pregnant yet. Also in speaking with the nurse they confirmed it was bleeding from ovulation last time as my hubby and I hadn't done any bd-ing yet. Good luck to you ,hope this helps!!

I had a natural M/C in November and it took my body a while to re-adjust to what had happened as your body goes through so much. I think you will find that your cycle length may change mine did but i seem to now be going back to a 28 day cycle but shortly after my M/C i was all over the place and like you didnt know when i would ovulate. Carry on using the OPK as i think you will ovulate at some point but your body needs time to heal and adjust so unfortunately you need to be patient and wait until your body gets back to a regular cycle. Good luck
