decided

So me and my hubby have decided it was best for us to go ahead and have a c section instead of laying in bed forever waiting on him to come and then possibly turning around and having a c section anyway. Bc the Dr said I couldn't vaginally deliver more then a 6 1/2 pound baby. Bc my hip and pelvis are very small. Anyone have any advice about c-sections?

Thank u zarazara. And honestly one of the reasons I want a c section is bc its fast. I don't want to lay there in pain.

I have had 2 csec by choice. I was so scared to give birth the first time and choose c sec,the second time l definitely went for it coz l had such a wonderful experience. One week before due date,l checked in the hospital with my bags, after about 10 min,got shaved and dressed. Then a small epidural what injected in my back and baby delivered in less than 10 min. After 3 days l left hopital. I will definitely go for a c sec again with my 3rd and last child

My mom is a very small woman and pushed out my brother who was a 9lb baby! I have had two csections and if you can even attempt to have a vaginally delivery go for it! Just because the doctor says one thing doesn't mean your body won't do what it was made to do. I'm trying to have a vbac after two csections because I've finally found a doctor who will do it! Please don't just get a csection , at least give your body the chance!

Couldnt have said it better^^ I was a size one with my 1st, and doctors thought the same. I delivered a healthy 7 lb baby. My 2nd was 8 lbs.

My advice is to try vaginal birth anyways. I knew a girl who was in size 1 jeans at her largest and she delivered an almost 8lb baby. Remember that some Dr's tell white lies to out thoughts in your head to get what they want. A c-section is scheduled and fast for them. Labor makes them stick around and play the waiting game with you. Also c sections bring in more money because it's surgery. Just some food for thought.
