desperate for advice!!!!! help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plz help!!!! I have a 10wk old daughter and split with her dad when she was 4wks old. He showed no interest in her an never helped to care for her at all. Even when she was in hospital at 3wks old he never came to see her. He also isn't on the birth certificate as he couldn't be bothered making the appointment. He has never bought her anything except 1 carton of milk, didn't even get a nappy or bottle or cot, pram etc. He hasn't seen her now for 6wks and has now decided that he wants shared custody and has threatend to get a solicitor involved. Im really worried because he has no idea how to care for her and i don't know what to do about him could anyone give me some advice plz

He can't do crap because he's not on the birth certificate he's just saying empty threats  he would have to pay 300 for paternity testing plus lawyer fees to get shared custody. I doubt he'll be willing to fork over the money hunny.  You don't have anything to worry about your the mother and you get final say.

Use all that evidence. Tell them he wasnt put on the birth certificate because he didnt want to claim her and has not taken on any parental duties. Hope you get your baby all to yourself he sounds lke a pos. Best of luck hun

They will tell u he has to prove paternity first because he basically as the right to see his child. I went through this when i found out my daughters dad picked up charges for selling drugs. But because i dont trust him my lawyerr   suggested i request supervised visitation.
