did I wait too long?please help

Ok so my last period was June 4.  I took a test on Friday (July 13) and it was negative.  I still hadn't started my period so I took another one this morning (July 15) as soon as I got up.  I know the test said wait 3to 10 minutes before reading.  I looked at it at 3 minutes and nothing so I sat it down and went out to my car when I came back it had a light but def. Line down it. I cant be sure if I looked after 10 minutes though. If I did it wouldn't have been long after so I was wondering do text normal get a positive line after 10 minutes?  Just curious

I took another test this evening it was just a regular test not a early result and it was negative so I guess ill take another early result test first rung in the morning and see.  This is so frustrating to get positives and negatives.

The line was blue that's why I was confused ive taken several test over the years and have never had a line appear after the time.  I went and got an EPT test (they were out of first response) and I got just a cheap one too.  I will take another in the morning and see.  Thanks everyone for the advice. I appreciate it and as soon ad I detest ill post.  Lets hope for a positive :)

I've taken so many pregnancy tests in the past 2 years and I have never seen another line after 10 minutes or even after an hour. You should try again tomorrow morning.

Did the line have colour in it? If so, then I would say it's definitely a line. Otherwise, it most likely would have been an evap line. Best think to do is wait a day or so, and take another test with first morning urine. A test can be read within 3 mins, so if nothing appears within 3-5 mins it's safe to assume that it;s negative.

I am going to get another test I'm hoping for it to be positive as well.  I have a 5 year old so I'm ready lol.  I just wasn't sure if the test would normally turn positive after 10 minutes.

I would say take another one just to be sure and wait for the results this time...because I'm not really sure and I don't wanna give the wrong advice
