--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i am a mom of a 2 and a half year old i had a miscarriage when he was 5 months old. I have been trying to get pregnant now for about 5 months i took clomid first two months then skipped a month doc didnt want to give me anything that month i usually have to take provera to start my periods due to PCOS and irregular periods. then i took femera for one month and the next month i had a hsg test done were they run dye threw your tubes to make sure there is no blockage and there was not on the 13 of this month i took 4 different at home pregnancy tests which all showed faint positives was very excited and happy called the doc he ordered a blood test which would show my hcg levels came back preggo with a hcg level of 36.97 which ment i was only bout 2 weeks preggo he was not sure bout them numbers so ordered another hcg blood test 3 days later my numbers went down to a 34.36 they are supposed to double every 48 to 72 hours and mine dropped i was very worried i wanted that baby so bad he said that i could have just been ovulating i dont believe that why would 5 different test show a positive and a blood test if was not iono what do you think. anyway on sunday i start having a lot of back pain and cramping i started bleeding ALOT lots of blood clots iono if it was a miscarriage or not i believe it might have been. i went and had my hcg levels checked the next day and they were under a 2 not pregnant and went to the doctor he told me i may of had a chemical pregnancy miscarriage but since i am bleeding go ahead and take femera on the third day of bleeding for 5 days so am i bleeding because i had a miscarriage or is it a period and if it is because of miscarriage will the femera work this time i thought you had to wate till first normal period i am very confused please help sorry this was so long thought i should tell my whole storey so it could be understood better thank who ever reads this

Normally it's a d&c you want to wait that long for. A natural miscarriage you can start trying again as soon as you'd like. Typically a month or so is only suggested so that you'll know when you conceived better and to allow the women to heal emotionally. With a d&c they scrape your uterine lining and you need time to allow it to heal.

I agree with Clysta, it does indeed sound like you have miscarried.  I am so sorry that this has happened.  My doc suggests waiting at least 3 months after miscarriage so that your body can level itself out again.  Best of luck to you honey.

That does indeed sound like a miscarriage. Your body only produces elevated amounts of hCG like that while pregnant so you would have to have been. It sounds like a chemical pregnancy. Have you had other tests ran, such as progesterone? If it's low it could be a reason why you loose the pregnancy. I'm not too sure about the medicines though. I have no personal experience or knowledge about them and can't answer too well.
