just a quick question. im 15 weeks and since i been pregnant my diet has been really bad as ive have been eating a lot of junk food but i have been asked to be maid of honour at my dads wedding 6 weeks after my baby is due so i want to keep my wieght quite low so i only have baby fat after the baby comes. but my question is will it effect my baby if i change my diet to all healthy food and cut out all the junk ive been eating

I agree, cutting the junk will not hurt your baby. What will hurt the baby is that you are not getting enough calories, so the obvious don't starve yourself. Stick to the healthy stuff, several small meals a day, lots of water, whole grains, low fat meats/cheeses etc....And don't forget there are always Spanx!! they really work well to smooth and tighten you when you need to dress up :)

Eating healthy is truly what is best for your baby.  Just be sure you are eating enough and not depriving yourself or your baby of anything important while trying not to gain weight.  Just eat lots of fruits and veggies and cut back on the junk.  I also enjoyed taking walks while pregnant and it helped me keep my weight down with both of my pregnancies!
