dizziness

Hi! This is my first pregnancy and all has gone well until 2 weeks ago a rush of dizziness came over me. I've been told it's vertigo. I'm just starting to feel better and 19 weeks pregnant.  Has anyone else been through this before?

Oh yeah I haven't been able to drive. I spent just about 2 weeks in bed. Had a trip to the ER when it first happened. Was throwing up, could barely walk. It was terrible. Now I just get the occasional dizzy spell turning my head. And bad allergies to add to it. So it's been rough, waiting for this to all pass and be back to "normal"

It was the longest week in my life when that happened. I was too scared to turn my head too fast when driving.

Thank you! It's a pretty scary experience. I hope it doesn't last the rest of the pregnancy. I want to be able to enjoy this time. :)

Yes I felt dizzy & lightheaded sometimes! The main cause of dizziness is due to the rising hormones that cause your blood vessels to relax and widen... It could also be caused by low blood sugar levels! Just don't stand up to quick cause you could fall!
