I had my baby 2 wks ago started bleeding heavily on Saturday said some membranes and stuff were still in there they have me pills I see my ob tomorrow and if I still have stuff in there iget a dnc has this happened to anyone before

I had one in 2011. They done it as an outpatient procedure, put me to sleep. Took maybe 10 mins
My friend had one. She was completely put to sleep through an IV. She said it lasted 5 minutes. Recovery was about a an hour she had me drive her home, cuz of the anesthesia. Nothing was to be inserted vaginally for 2 weeks. So no sex no tampons. No heavy lifting. She was given antibiotics and ibuprofen for pain. You can message me if you have questions and I'll ask her.
