doctor vs. mother in law

So my doctor tells me to take tylenol but my mother in Law says no I saw it on the news it's not good for you ? and she gives me ibeprophen (sorry if I spelled it wrong) but I want to go by what my doctor says but I feel like she will freak out if I do...  I live with my fiance and his parents so my mom isn't around much that's why I say mother in law.

Tylenol is ok. There was a study in Sweden that clames they can link the use to a rude 7% increase in adhd. But thats only one study and thats with the mothers taking it often. I wouldn't take anything that often being pregnant other than prenatals but if you need it you need it. Also ob's and pediatrician say that allot of the symptoms that tylenol treats if untreated can be linked to adhd and they advice women it's still deemed safe.

You can get the knock-off version of tylenol is the same thing and you can get that from the dollar store, it'll cost way way way more to have your dr perscribe you some instead of just buying some
