doppler. 2 heartbeats???

Ok so I have a home doppler and when I was using it last night I heard the hb in 2 locations they were about 4 inches from each other one on the far right side and the other on the left side. I tried again this morning and found the same thing still about 4 inches from each other. Im not a pro with using the doppler but i find the hb with in seconds of  usiNg it. I have already had a US at 6w3d is it possible that I could be carrying twins. I don't have another appointment till may 11. I'm 14w4d? Feeling confused

One is your heartbeat, the other is baby.

It's really easy to find your own heart beat and the sound of the placenta! Using mine the first time I heard my own heart beat which is very slow compared to the baby's heart beat! I hear mine on the right and left side!

the sound travels. You can hear the heart beat on either side and it sounds different which may make you think that there are 2 but if there are 2 then you would here 2 beats at the same time on either sides.
