ectopic pregnancy

I am 4 weeks and 4 days. Two days ago my hcg levels where 745, I was diganosed with a cyst on my ovaries. Tthe er dr told me I  was experiencing severe cramps because of the cyst. But I went for a follow up with my obgyn today and she said that cyst do not cause cramps, and they were gonna "take blood to check my levels, to make sure the baby is in the uterus." This scared the cramp out of me. So my question is with my severe/ stabbing like cramps signs of a ectopic pregnancy?? Please help, I am terrified and I know I shouldnt stress but its really hard not to.
