evap lines or are they true faint positives?

hi there i did another test today and it had another very faint line i am not sure what to think is it possible to keep having test results that just keep coming up as evap lines or do you ladies think the test are actually positive faint lines? i dont know what to think dont want to go to the doctors and waste time on bloods if theese could be evap lines but at the same time i dont want to spend loads on test and keep getting the same results. do you think that if i did a digital test i would have a better chance of a true result please help advice asap please ladies im going out my mind.

guess who did a digital today? and i didn't do it with the first morning urine as i had done two cheap ones in the morn and they to had faint lines within 3 mins, so i went to town to see my pregnant sister -in-law and got a digital clear blue and sure enough it said BFP! 1-2 weeks which the tests say you add two weeks on so im 3-4 weeks ladies im still in denial i dont believe it omg! not managed to get in with the doctor yet got to try tomorrow but im at work till thurs but looks like i did it im soooo nervous got to tell the other half tonight. still keep thinking it must be old hcg from my loss but that left my system ages ago, so i just need to let it sink in and i had an implantation bleed last week to and feel really sicky so id say its certainly right just need time to get used to it i suppose. omg omg!

i used two first response tests. both were faint positive then i took a digital one and it said pregnant...so if you saw a faint line then your pregnant! i wasnt sure at first i took it with first morning urine and it seemed really faint..but then a few hours later it was another faint line. so i knew i was but im so weird lol that i went out and bought a digital one just to be sure and of course it said pregnant! so congrats girl! if you want you could just go to a clinic and confirm it then make an appt with your obgyn! best of luck to you :)

I've heard that the blue dye tests are known for false positive results b/c of the evaporation lines. Stick to the pink ones and/or digitals only!
Why do you call it an evap line? Are you reading it within the suggested test time? (usually either 5 or 10 minutes for most) I am asking b/c an evap line is considered a line that's either gray or shows up after the test's suggested reading time. If you're using the pink dye test and reading it w/in suggested test time, then a line is a line and I'd definitely consider it a confirmed positive!
Also, if you're only unsure b/c of the faintness of the line... it can take a while for your lines to get darker so wait a couple days and take another to see if the line is getting darker. Just be sure you're reading it w/in the suggested test time! && Let us know how everything turns out!

I rely on the results from a first response. If it is a positive in the right time then I count it as a positive. So go get a first response and try again in the morning.
