I think drs are too judgemental when it comes to weight. I weighed 104lbs at the beginning of my pregnancy and am not at 119lbs at 19 weeks. My dr said something similar and actually told me to slow down on gaining weight.. I was way under weight for my height pre pregnancy. Dont worry. You cant be disciplined for gaining too much or too little weight. Just do whats comfortable to you and eat when you are hungry! Just listen to your body. It will all work out in the end

im 39 weeks 4 days ive gained 20 pounds during my whole pregnancy. Theres really no reason to gain so much weight especially this early but remember we are all different ur body can have water weight or ur boobs can grow like ur whole bidy changes u get swollen and its normal to gain weight so dont listen to him the day he has a vagina and gives birth he can tell u how much u should gain besides that let him read his stupid charts

I started out at 135 lbs. I'll be 27 weeks saturday and currently weight 174 lbs. As long as you are eating healthy and baby is doing good....don't worry. Everyone gains differently during pregnancy. :-)

Don't feel bad. I gained a 1.5 lbs so far and I got yelled at, literally yelled at, by my doctor. Some are just more considerate than others i guess.

P.s. i was told by my Dr. That it is normal to measure 2 bigger or 2 under depending on the person. I was measuring 2 under this last time and he said he wasnt worried because it is normal to measure 2 under or over.

Honestly, i wouldn't worry as long as you are taking you vitmins and eating normal sized meals. Dr.'s can be a bit dramatic if you gain quickly. I'd say as long your not gaining that much every time your fine. I havent gained that much weight my whole pregnancy and all of a sudden i gained it all at the end. So i wouldn't worry. Sounds like your doing great, if you've been under this whole time.
