You're welcome and you are completely right. Women did it all the time without any pain relief because they didn't have it. I'm not saying you don't need to get an epidural because that is completely your choice. I told my mom nothing was stopping me from getting an epidural and she found it a little funny and ironic that I couldn't get it lol.

I felt the same way my first pregnancy. It wasn't until the morning of my induction date , sitting in the car before going into the hospital when it kicked in that I was about to push out a huge baby from a small hole. I really started to get scared and nervous. I ended up dilating too fast to get an epidural and that made me freak out even more. But to tell you the truth, labor really is nothing to worry about at all. Everyone has different experiences with their labor and deliveries but the key is to just not let people's horror stories about labor scare you. I was totally nervous about getting induced because everyone kept saying it slows down labor and the pain is so much worse and the chances of having to get a c section increase. Where the chances of getting a c section does increase it doesn't mean you are definitely going to have to have a c section. I had my daughter in 4 1/2 hours and vaginally. Plus I already said I couldn't get my epidural lol. I am seriously the biggest wimp in the world I am sure, so if I can do it literally anyone could. Except men of course, because we know men cant really handle anything close to labor lol. :) Good luck with your baby and congratulations. I am about to have my second baby in the next couple of weeks and I am super excited.
