stupid laptop lol, i was gonna say before i pressed the wrong button, im 21 weeks now and for the last week or so iv noticed that when i eat anything sugary ie sweets etc i get really dizzy and feel weak and sick. i was wondering if anyone else feels like this and if you had any ideas what it could be? it also makes me very tired untill i eat something that isnt sugary.
Have you eaten anything prior to eating the sweets? Or was your stomach empty? You could be coming off a "sugar high" if you eat sweets on an empty tummy. Your blood sugar levels go up and then drop quickly and that could make you feel that way.
iv normally eaten a little while before, not straight away but an hour or less before hand. its not just every so often either its all the time, for example i had a milkshake today and that made me feel funny when normally it wouldnt x
I feel the same way after eating sweets! Everybody tried to say it was pregnacy diabetes, forgot the name, but no thats not it at all. So I just stay away from sweets if I can! Sugar and alot of salt seems to make me sick. Which I dont like at all because pre ptegnacy I was a junk food junky! Lol but imy body knows whats best and only accepts nutritious and healthy foods and water now.
