Can anyone tell me what to look at in fetal heart dopplers? I would like to get one, but not spend a lot of money.
I think it would be great bonding for my daughter (age 10) and the baby. Plus, be reassurace for me that everything
is okay. I am at 13 weeks and 5 days.
I got one and its a 3mHz one that I found on Ebay. We payed about $115 amer dollars and I was able to hear the HB at 10 wk 2 days. Its been an absolute joy having it and I am not sure if I would have made it through the preg without it.
I just sent you a private message. but I went through babybeats and got a 3MHZ doppler for about $70 to rent for 3 months. They have different plans, where you can rent by the month or for the entire pregnancy.
I found my son's hb at 10w1d or so. I've found it invaluable because it always gave me peace of mind (and was really cool to hear his hb and later him kicking it.)
I just bought a 3 mhz one off of ebay for $90 (literally, I bought it about an hour ago) I'd rather have one I can keep for future use than have to give one back, and it got all positive feedback on the ebay reviews. I was going to try to not get one, because I'm thinking I might become obsessed with it, but couldnt' hold out any longer, especially since I"m 11 weeks tomorrow, and you can usually hear the HB somewhere between 10 and 12 weeks on the home dopplers. I haven't gotten it yet, but I'll let you know how it works once it comes in (probably Saturday or Monday)
i bought a baby sound b off ebay for $39.99 plus shipping and heard the heartbeat right away at 12 weeks. make sure you get the one with the lcd screen so it calculates the rate for you. mine is very clear and picks up the hb almost immediately.
