formula..

Hi.. so im 20 weeks and decided NOT to breastfeed.. just wondering when do i start getting formula? Now or when the baby comes? I know some babies get sick off certain kinds. Im a first time mom due in july, was just curious since this is all new.. and don't try to encourage me to breast feed cause I've thought about it for a while and decided not too.. and i don't need any negative input either.. thank you

I chose not to breastfeed my first and The formula That They gave me in The hospital was simulac and She didn't take to It very Well... I had wic and They were giving me good start gentle and Also didn't take to That very Well either. She spit up alot,  was very gassy...  got constipated.  I thought I had made The wrong choice and That breast feeding would be better But I tried switching bottles and formula one more time first and I went For Dr. Brown's bottles and got good start soy....  problem solved and eating For her wasn't ever a problem after. No more gas and spitting up All The time,  No more constipation. She was such a happy healthy baby ever since. Now She Is a brilliant little four year old. So I do suggest Dr. Brown's bottles. You should try them out, They are very good in my opinion. And as For The formula If Ur getting wic They will help You with getting The right formula For your baby and They will start giving You The formula At The right time. But You could always get a little can of one kind of formula and a little can of gentle and a little can of soy Just in case, get it a little before your due date and that way if anything your good and prepared!

My baby couldn't handle Infamil. It made her so sick while we were in the hospital. I put her on similac sensitive amd she's doing much better. You can buy formula anytime really

The only downside to buying ahead is if your baby winds up having acid reflux, you might have to switch to soy. Just something to keep in mind.

Breastfeeding didn't work out for me unfortunately so I started buying the Similac Advanced and haven't had a problem with it. Formula doesn't expire for quite a while so if you buy a couple weeks or a month in advance you'll be fine.

were. I live we get wic. So we dont have to buy the formula. And they usually start with enfamil newborn. But you can tell them if its good or not for your baby if hes spitting up too much they can change them.
