gender predictions - for the ladies that recently found out the sex of their baby

hey ladies...im really really hoping for a girl this preg and im just curious to know the ladies that recently found out the sex of their babies...my questions are

did any of you try the chinese gender calander and was it right?

what cravings have you had or are you having?

did you have any instinct that told you what you were having and its correct?

i got a lot of weeks til i find out but im really really hoping for a little girl this time

i can only wait til out til i find out at the doc..i think they can tell me at 16 weeks...im 1/2 way there...LOL

That's a beautiful name. I do beleive our instincts kick in...Maybe not for everyone, but I know it did for my three.........I'll hold my breath on this one, just incase...I had feelings and dreams with my first three and I was right....I even predicted my last sons TIME of birth and only was off by 3 minutes.....lol

She better be a girl dang it! I've already started shopping Ebay......lol

The only difference *I* have noted in MY personal pregnancies is that I carried noticeably higher with my 2 boys than my 2 girls.

The chinese calendar said boy, the ring on a string over my hand said boy, I looked like I was carrying a boy, I had HORRIBLE m/s, I didnt crave anything unless I saw it on a commercial-then I wanted to have it, I dreamed of boys, I would have bet my house that it was a boy, I even picked out boy bedding.......SHE'S A GIRL!!

that's great news...my mommy instincts are saying girl and everything's pointing that way...so im gonna keep calling it a girl

I craved celery closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas..Now I don't want it so much! Now I find chocalate cakes and puddings appealing, not candy bars so much though...

did you have any instinct that told you what you were having and its correct?
I kept calling her "she" and it felt so natural...My husband said he just had a felling....

For all of mine it has been the same, but I think it's just all a coincidence...everything was  BOY BOY BOY...and sure enough...I always thought I would have a boy first and this whole time along the pregnancy I've had insticts of my son...and I got lucky...I tool the Chinese Claendar test...BOY...I took the Old Wives Tales Test...Boy...the way my stomach is growing according to ppl is BOY...what I eat supposedly...BOY...but I still think it's just a coincidence...

Well with my last 4 the chines calendar was hit and miss...I didn't have any specific cravings for either sex.  As for "gut feelings" I swore my oldest was a boy and she wasn't.  My husband had a "feeling" with a couple of my pregnancies and was right.  This time he has a "feeling" it's a boy....I really hope it is.  I think if I have another girl I'll be a bit disappointed at first.  I have 2 girls and 1 boy (1st son was stillborn) so I want another boy to even things out.

oh and this preg is completely opposite of my preg with my son...i didnt have any MS, could eat what i wanted, wasnt turned off by smells, wasnt so tired all the time

i told my mom its got to be a girl cuz its already controlling me...we'll see

I always had dreams of a little boy but I have two girls. I think we subconsciously dream of what we want or what we fear.

it was weird cuz i had a dream about a month before i got preg that i finally had a little girl..in my dream i was outside carrying her...then i found out i was preg and i sware from that point its a girl

ill be happy with a boy too since that's what daddy wants

the chinese calander says a girl and most of the old wives tales point to a girl

I just found out last week that I'm having a boy!

The Chinese calendar was correct, although I don't really put any stock in that.  
I'm not really having any cravings yet.  Just things that I think will set on my stomach better than others.  Favorites at this point at hamburgers and fries, and cheese.
I didn't feel certain about what it would be.  One day I would think one thing and then change my mind, but I never felt either way very strongly.  However, my husband and I settled on a boy's name early on but couldn't pick a girl's name to save our lives!  Just a funny coincidence.

Im hoping for a little girl as well. the chinese say girl. and it was right for me with my 1st. This pregnancy is differnent from my son, Thats why Im thinking it could be a girl. But Im gut say BOY. It just runs on my Hb side. But I dont want to know! I want it to be a suprise but Hb wants to found out.

o yeah i craved very very sweet things. ive always had a sweet tooth tho. but i really crave sweet things. in the second trimester, my cravings stopped slightly

im having a boy.

the chinese gender calender didnt work for me because it asked age of conception and i was 17 at the time, and the calender started at 18. however if i was 18 at the time, it still would have been correct.

i felt as though i was going to have a boy. so my instincts were correct.

I had two girls so I'll answer your questions.

1). Chinese Calendar is just for fun and is only correct 50% of the time, so you still have a 50/50 chance of one gender. It was right with one girl and not right with the second.

2). I craved CHOCOLATE! Sweet stuff, pop, junk food, McDonalds (fries and cheeseburgers), potatoes

3). I don't remember instinct. There were days I would think definitely girl and other days I'd think THIS HAS TO BE A BOY. They were both girls... some women intuitively know what they are having though! I'm not one of those women.
