@babyturnip wow thats really great, everybody needs a little help every now and then and the ones that help out get so much back eventually. its nice to know theres still good people out in the world (:
well done, not many people would have done that x
My hubby taught me that good karma always comes around. It always pisses me off to see people trick the system while were trying so hard the get things payed for. Like you, we get bills payed and thats about it. Well we had to pay our first phone-internet-cable pkg last month and for some reason they never sent us the bill for our cell phones. Were still waiting for it but it helped us get back on track. And even though we have money saved up its for emergency only and we had have to use some at some point. I was happy we were smart and saved up instead of spending it all. Now im a little ahead in things and i splurged and got a little pair of shoes that was on sale for my little man. And a friend of my moms was having a garage sale and let us get first pick at the baby clothes. So for 120$ i got over 150 outfits ranging from 0-12months and they are beautiful. She got them all from high end shops. Each outfit easily cost her 30-50$. So good things always comes around when u do good deeds.
I remember when my hubbys cousin found out she was pregnant and got kicked out of her house we took her in and boy did we struggle for a long time! It was right when my hubby lost his job but we knew that at least she had a roof over her head and food and she wasnt just sleeping everywhere. She was safe with us. Good things finally did happen for us at some point. And i dont regret helping her out. She use to take drugs and smoke and now shes drug and smoke free, her baby is her life and shes going too school to go into building design or whatever its called. :)
I had something similar happen as well, I went into Walmart to get groceries and dog food and I was talking to my friend who is a cashier and we paid and went out and I realized that we hadn't paid for the dog food or pop and bottled water... about $40 worth of stuff... so I went back in and she was like oh I didn't even notice it... lol. I could have used the money as well, but I would rather be honest and happy then rich and guilty haha
