green mucus after bowel movement

Hello, I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I am scared cuz I went to the bathroom and when I wiped, I found a little piece of green mucus. It was just a speck, but it looked slightly tinged with blood. It looked like just a booger from someones nose. I wiped again, and there was nothing. I stuck a finger in myself with toilet paper and ther was nothing also. Does anyone know what this is, and if I should worry. It wasn't discharge, it looked like snot. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I did end up calling the on-call ob and she said it was fine and nothing to worry about. Thanks again.

You should be fine some ladies get this, because around that time your mucus membranes swell and produce more, this includes the membrane in your vagina. No one really knows why, some say its hormones. But if your really worried ask your ob or mw.

It could be from ur prenatals. I have some that have iron in them and have had that problem. The mucas could be flem that was in ur throat that was swallowed and didnt get digested like other food. Im almost 10 weeks also. U will be fine.
