I too had an ectopic pregnancy in Sep 2010 but I had a laparotomy, the baby had ruptured my tube really bad and I had to have the right one removed. But some of the reason why they say to wait is for one because it would be painful, and plus you have to give the incision and your insides time to heal properly with no aggrevation, sex could lead to infection if the incision on the inside are not healed up enough. But I really applaud you for trying so soon because with me my poor DH had to wait almost 2 months because it was way to sore and tender on the inside, but than again I had a c-section type surgery, but in your case I would really wait a few weeks, You will notice in the next few months to come that you r hormones are going to be really different and that your cycles will be off. You are more than welcome to look at my chart and see. When it come to TTC now we only have half the chances, every other month so you will see you cm change between being fertile and not fertile. But anyways I thought I would throw some thought out there. There not too many woman on here who have had ectopic in result of a tubal removal and I had to do a lot of researching just so I didnt think I was going crazy but after 4 cycles I am back and track and hoping cycle 5 doesnt show (I am on a good month). The Dr also told me to wait about 3 cycle in order to really to TTC so that everything can heal good. But you situation might be better than what mine was. But Good luck
the nurse just called me back didnt tell me much except i may have just been ready to stop bleeding from the surgery and may be about to start my period. And that if i feel comfortable with the sex to go ahead. i think that you are right i am going to just call and make an appointment with my doc
Also, unless your doctor gives you the go ahead--no more sex.
You had sex far too soon. I had that done and I was told to wait 4 weeks, but even as a minimum you should have waited 2 weeks. (and mine was just for an IUD removal) Your doctor should be able to give you the best advice of what to do next. They might want you to come in and get checked out to make sure nothing was hurt.
