has anyone tried a britax stroller/carseat??

hi girls!  as some of you may know, i am having travel system dilemmas!  i just can't decide and i think i am reading too much into the online critiques that i come across.  i am very interested in the britax brand.  i've done loads of research and i think i would like to purchase the britax companion infant carseat and stroller that goes with it.  my main concern is that many people say the seat is HUGE!  my husband has a toyota camry and i have a 5 door mazda 3.  do you think this seat would be too big for our cars?

does anyone have the carseat/carrier?  i read that they are heavy...are they impossible to lug around or do you find yourself using the stroller or a sling more?  i am pretty sure that this is the brand i would like to register for, but my only concern is the size (will it fit our cars) and it's weight.  this is my first baby so i really don't know what exactly i need.  perhaps i shouldn't even worry about the way because maybe i will be using the sling or stroller in the mall, grocery store, and other outtings...

Hello, we have 2 of the Britax Roundabouts and we love them!!  My little one seems so comfy in his, maby too much=0)  I did a LOT of research to and finally found that it was better to take my son in and sit him in a few and see how they fit him.  I know they seem to be bigger BUT its because they tend to be cushier and safer than most.  Also, there is a site from the depart of trans that rates all car seat on several diff levels it helped.  Hope this info helps you.

my car seats are not that big but look so comfy i drive a seat alhambra i dont know if you know what that is it a 7 seater also all my seats are isofix i would not use anything else love it

yea, i think i will head out to babiesrus tomorrow to play with the seats and strollers.  the online stuff is making my eyes hurt!  i am the kind of person that would rather see it in person and touch it anyway :-)

We just bought out carseat/stroller.  We decided on the chicco brand, because they had a car seat that called the keyfit 30 and unlike other carseats it can be used until the baby is 30 lbs and up to 30 inches tall.  Where most carseats only go up to 22 lbs.  Here is the link http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2633096 .  Graco has one that is similar but the chicco brand was alot easier to handle and fold.  

You'll just have to go to the store where you live or many stores, like I did, and play with all of them, buckle and unbuckle everything, put the carseat in and out of the base and the stroller, put the stroller down and back out.  I didn't do this my first time around, about 7 years ago and bought something that worked but found out it wasn't the easiest to use.  The reviews are nice to read what other parents thought but in the end you'll be the one dealing with the product.  Good luck to ya!

http://www.babytrend.com/products.php?CategoryID=0005.0002.0000.0000, I sent you an link with this, but if anyone else is looking for a good stroller and car seat system that wont break the bank.  These are jogger strollers that have car seats that attach inside them, and they have a ton of storage.  pockets and zippered pockets on the shade, and two lower storage.  Along with the snack tray for you and them.  Also very very light weight.  And the car seat is so neat.  The car seat looks like a big kid car seat on the inside where that baby sits, it has built in head support and a triangle handle to tote the baby around at any angle... I know it is a big decision, this stroller has so much more than what the description says.. So good luck girls..
