I am very sorry for your loss.
Wednesday night i ended up miscarrying. i went back to the doctors on Thursday and my levels had already dropped back down to the 800 range. hopefully i will have better luck next time.
You should call your OB to let them know of any changes. Bleeding in the beginning can be due to so many things. I had a friend that bled so badly in early pg and it was due to a friable cervix and she went on to have a very healthy baby. And I did bleed with cramping and I had a m/c. You can cramp b/c your uterus is affected by it's new roommate and not be a m/c.
Sorry...but it is so hard to tell what your body is doing...the scan should shed some light on this.
what about if i am experiencing some cramping and the brown blood seems to be happening more than it was?
It is the not knowing that is so hard to handle. I thought when your numbers reached a certain point, the doubling really didn't come in to play as much.
Per the American Pregnancy Association:
In a bout 85% of normal pregnancies, the hCG level will double every 48 - 72 hours. As you get further along in pregnancy and the hCG level gets higher, the time it takes to double can increase to about every 96 hours.
Caution must be used in making too much of hCG numbers. A normal pregnancy may have low hCG levels and result in a perfectly healthy baby. The results from an ultrasound after 5 - 6 weeks gestation are much more accurate than using hCG numbers.
