it very well could be your body trying to get its cycles straightened out....after a mc its hard to know exactly when your next period will come because your body is healing
def mention this to your doc and see what they say about it
im sorry that this is like the never ending torment...i had a D&E 2 years ago and it took 7 weeks to get my first actual period and then 4 cycles of not knowing when to expect my period...it was quite frustrating but here i am now 2 years later 24.5 weeks preg again...sometimes you just gotta give your body time
the faint positives may be a very good sign for you...have you taking a new test recently to see if its getting darker?
Thanks girls I'm about to post a new question like tomorroe arounf 12so read it and maybe go to doctors idk yet but thanks anyways for yalls advice
It could be a number of things honestly. It could be a cycle, cycles may be regular as far as when they start, but the bleeding is not always going to be regular as your body is still trying to get back to normal. As far as Ectopic goes, at this point tests would normally show up positive, your HCG still increases, therefore you are likely to have pregnancy related symptoms. At this point, most women do notice symptoms of Ectopic pregnancies, such as side pains...and i'm talking excruciating pains. I had an Ectopic in 1999, and they found it when I was 5 weeks 3 days, however I was having positive pregnancy tests, normal rising HCG levels, and other normal pregnancy symptoms, the only thing that proved the pregnancy may have been abnormal was the cramping on my left side.
Now spotting in early pregnancy is normal, however...if you were bleeding from an Ectopic or Ectopic rupture, the bleeding would be 10x worse...in most cases anyways. I think if you wait 2 more weeks and take another test, and your results are negative...I would go get a pelvic exam and possibly start those pills to help normalize your cycle.
Another thing with the bleeding to consider is STD's. I NEVER 100% completely rule those out, no matter how much trust a woman has in their significant other, mainly because I have been there and done that. Chlamydia causes bleeding in between periods and often after sexual intercourse, or just out of the blue. I was having severe pelvic discomfort, and irregular bleeding. I got tested for STD's and it was positive for Chlamydia. I instantly accused my husband of cheating, however when he went to get tested, his came back negative. I likely carried this STD for a lengthy period of time without any symptoms, it had gone unnoticed for so long that I developed PID(Pelvic Inflammatory Disease), it was so bad that I was told my chances for pregnancy ever again was very slim.
Everyone knows their own body, and if you feel that something isn't right, but yet not getting the answers you need from your OB/GYN....I'd suggest finding a new doctor.
I think that it would definitely be a good idea to let your doctor diagnose what is going on especially if you fear it is an infection. I think that it could be from a number of different things and hopefully it is nothing too severe. Good luck honey!
but i was supposed to have my period on the 25 of May its already june 13..
so its like i didnt have my period at all in may
because the brown discharge started may 31 and its still here..
my obgyn was going to put me on some pills so i can regulate my period
and when i went to go see my doctor lastnight he asked why was he goin to put me on
those if i had a normal period in april
can it maybe be in infection
I'm pretty sure that even an ectopic pregnancy would show a positive pregnancy test... The spotting and cramping may be a sign of your period coming, even though late. Best wishes :)
