I had that with my first, and again with the baby i am carrying. The oil glad gets clogged. Should go away after you give birth/done breastfeeding.

Yes, your areola is the area around your nipple.

Is it on your nipple or your areola? If it's in your areola, then it's probably an oil gland getting ready for nursing. They produce natural lubrication for you breastfeeding. Either way, tell your doctor to be sure.

I'm not sure if it is normal or not (I'm sure someone on here does know more about it than I do), but that would be something I would address to your doctor next time you are in their office. Lumps could be anything.
