I HEAR YA on the hip pain! its aweful! i had it from 5 months on last time and im on day 3 of not sleeping flat on my back and its already getting uncomfortable (im 16 weeks) so im not looking forward to the upcoming nights lol all i can say is use big pillows to lean on, i already told the BF that we are gonna have to move the bed against a wall so i can put a pillow against it so it doesnt fall off and lean on it...i know last time i switch sides all night and never had a break of pain... just less pain when i rolled over... if its really bad just remember that you dont have to be right on your side, i use a flat pillow under one of my hips so im still kinda on my back a bit but angled enough that im not flat... in the hospital they just put a wedge under one side so can still be on your back a bit and be safe... i ahve bad hips already and those darn hormones can be rough on the joints.... its really funny tho when i have to pee so much in the night, i can just imagine what i look like trying to get out of bed sleeping on the inside against the wall... i was sure last time the BF was gonna get mad, cause im sure i had to have woken him up everytime lol

And this time im for sure going for massages and the chiropractor,,, my friends swear by them and it really cant get any worse im sure! always talk to your Dr first tho...

It's not always just the hips getting loose... I can't lay on my right side at all and my left side hurts, my hips pop in and out of place at the si joint, and is extremely painful. This is common in some pregnant women. I know when it's the si because I have pain in my butt area and shoots up my back, down my leg, skips my knee, hit's my calf bad, and resonates in my ankle. Most likely this is not what you areally going thru, and if not it is normal. If you are experiencing this talk to your Dr and get into physical therapy

It's just the baby pushing the hips apart so he/she can have more space. And if 1 side hurts more then the other its probably just from the baby puttin more pressure on tht side
