hmmm...what if? please help!!

so i missed my peroid altogether this month, very uncommon for me, had unprotected sex with my husband while on antibiotics. took two home pt's and negitive....took a urine test at dr's today...negitive...so i had them do a blood test, have to wait for the results....what are the chances of it coming back positive? if any? are the blood tests more accurate then dr's urine test?

Well when i had my MC the dr told me urine test are more sensitive then blood test, cause in order to test postive on a blood test your levels have to be at a 30 and a pee on a stick is i think a 23. if that makes any since.

Blood tests are more accurate than urine tests, so this is the way to go to be sure.  However, with this said, you may have experienced a late ovulation and therefore are having a later-than-usual period.  Illness and medications can delay ovulation.  So if the blood test comes back negative, this is most likely the reason.  Good luck!
