What were the ways you told everyone what you were having????? I wanna do cupcakes with a colored center since I'm finding out for my bday!!!!! Give me some input ladies

My husband and I didn't tell anyone the date set to have the ultrasound so that no one would call, text, email, or bother us in any way that day asking "What time is the appointment again?" and "Have you found out yet?" and such. Everyone kept asking us when we'd have the ultrasound and we'd just say, "Sometime in the first half of December." Lol, it drove our family and friends nuts!
I did the gender announcement via facebook (and picture text to those of my family and friends who do not use facebook often or have a page). We had the ultrasound scheduled first thing in the morning, and when we found out, we went straight to walmart after the appointment and I bought a blue onsie and some iron-on applique letters and baby prints. I took those home and ironed on a little lion and above that, I ironed on the letters to make our son's first and middle name. Then I got my two sons to sit with me for a picture with my oldest son holding the personalized designer onsie up to my belly and my youngest son holding up the profile picture of the ultrasound we got that morning. My husband took the picture and I posted it on facebook with a watermark over the picture that said "It's another BOY!" in blue letters.

I knew someone who didn't want to know until everyone else did so when she had the ultrasound done, the technician didn't tell her, she wrote it on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. Then the lady held on to it, and for her daughters birthday, she took a giant box to the store and gave the envelope to the lady and said if its a boy fill this box with blue balloons and if its a girl, then pink. after they had cake and opened all other presents, she gave her daughter the box and she opened it and pink balloons started floating out. it was so cute.

Awww these are all so cute!!!!! I love the Xmas tree idea too!!!!! Well I'm not really doing a reveal party but it's two days after my bday so I'm going to bring the cupcakes for our traditional out to eat dinner birthday celebration!!!!!! That's what I'm really excited for.....I think I'm more excited to tell people what we r having more than for myself to find out!!!!!

I posted a picture on Facebook of my tummy with a "Hello my name is..." Sticker on it and underneath my fiancé drew a mustache. Hahah.
I wasnt up for the whole gender reveal party but i think its such an awesome idea!

Right when I found out while they were still checking to see if everything was okay with my daughter I sent everyone a text and told them and then wrote it in Spanish and sent a text to my hubby's fam lol I was impatient

My boyfriend,  my mom, and my dad were in the room for the ultrasound. It was special to find out with everyone in the room. Then since I found out before Christmas, the hospital had all different kinds of trees decorated so I took a pic by one that was decorated in all blue and sent it to my older brother and said "guess!" And with it bein blue he knew it was a boy! Then when my lil bro got home from school I did the same thing with the pic. It was amazing:)

I think the cupcakes with the color in the middle is definitely a good idea its different and no one will expect it !!

I haven't really thought about it since I'm only 6w 2d. I want to do something fun but I'm so busy I think everyone is getting a mass text lol

I'm having a party tomorrow and we are having a pink cake and my daughter is opening a present that has an outfit in it.

I'm only 6weeks and we are doing a gender release party...only people who will know before that is.me and.net bestfriend....my boyfriend and.close.family will find out then we found these scratch off cards to send out with baby invitations to tell everyone else
