how long did it take you to fall pregnant after going off birth control?

How long did it take you to concieve after going off the pill? my husband and i have been trying for 6 months with no luck i have been to the doctors and have a gynecologist appointment in 2 months time, i have been BBT charting but it looks like im not ovulating its so frustrating! i dont know if my body is just taking its time getting back into a normal routine or if somethings wrong with me or my partner, hopefully the gyno can tell me something but just thought i'd see how long it took you to fall pregnant after the pill?

thanks for the replys everyone, im finding it quite hard because i cant pin point a day of ovulation it just looks like im not ovulating at all which really ***** and waiting for this gyno appointment seems to be taking FOREVER!! haha i just have to wait and be patient and keep trying i guess

I stopped taking it in Feb 2012 and had been on it for 4 years i think that really changes things how long you've been on it anyways i didn't get pregnant until January of this year and we had even been using those ovulation tests my advice go get a digital first response ovulation test kit and the day it says yes your ovulating have sex as many times as possible for the next 4 days you'll be pregnant if you can just hit that one freaking day where you ovulate you'll get pregnant it worked for us but figuring out the exact day was the difficult part good luck!

I stopped taking mine end of October and conceived Nov 13 lucky for us. But we also did it like rabbits. I was on Ortho Tri-cyclen low if that helps any.

It took me 1 month and I was on microgestin for four years. But I've talked to other woman and it took them up to a year. It'll happen when your body is ready! :)

Took me 7 to 8 months to become pregnant, I used to take microgynon 30. I was getting fed up of how long it took but it did happen, your body just needs time to adjust. My friend came off the pill and it took her around 7 months too, so it does take time hun for some of us ladies. I'm now 23 weeks pregnant due a little boy in august :) try not to stress about it, all good things come to those who wait!
