It will be different in every case- but I had my mirena taken out in May and conceived in July. I am now 6 1/2 weeks along. With other types of iud's it can be even faster. I conceived the same month as the removal of a paragard IUD and conceived another time while I still had a paragard IUD in place. Good luck!

I had mine taken out in April and in June me and my partner conceived i am now 10.6 weeks pregnant it didn't take anytime, and we wasn't even trying i toke it out because the string kept poking him during sexually intercoarse he dealt with it for two years but my doctor said you can get pregnant that next month after you take it out due to the low hormones that the Mirena put out...

there is no definite after having a mirena out, some women fall straight away, it can take others months. Even after a year of trying it may still not have happened. I had my mirena out Jan this year and it took me 6 months before I got my bfp. Am 13 weeks now. So try not to stress and remember mirena symptoms leaving the body can also act as pregnancy symptoms! Baby dust to you
