Oh and there is a really good ongoing thread titled CYCLE DAY? DPO?TWW? (a cycle or 2 b4 2010)p6 that is for women trying to conceive...there's a lot of women, including myself posting symptoms, cycle days, etc...when you're ready to try again, it's a very supportive group. If you need the link to it let me know.

Just wanted to say sorry for your loss...

And if you want to know more of these terms, i.e. AF, there's a link on the right hand side of the page, towards the bottom for pregnancy acronyms and abbreviations.

My doc who was a high risk doc and surgeon told me that after my missed MC (i was 20 weeks along)  I could TTC again after my first AF after I stopped bleeding from my 2 D&C's. He told me I would be preg again in 3 months if we tried and sure enough we were. He said that my cycles might be off but that the chances of getting preg after a MC are higher. I dont know the medical reasons behind this but this is what he told me....and thankfully we are not 24 weeks along after 2 mc's. Stay positive and you will be blessed with a little one in your arms in no time. Also I was devastated after the last MC as I was sooo far along. It was a long horribly situation that I will not get into but soon after we got through the first trimester again, I was hopeful and ready to move fwd. I have not forgotten the little ones who did not get to join our family but I have to say that I would never get to meet this monkey that is kicking me all the time and I could not ever imagine not having that blessing. Hugs to you girl.

I found out I was pregnant the middle of January of this year, and miscarried the first week of February. I had a period in March, and then found out the end of April that we were pregnant again. They say that after a miscarriage/after giving birth your body is super fertile, so it's easy to conceive right after.

I agree with CA25....a lot of women conceive right after a miscarriage, but it's better for your body and your heart (in my opinion) to wait one full cycle before trying again, because you've lost a lot of nutrients that your new baby will need, and your new baby deserves your heart and mind to be in a good place, which obviously you're hurting so bad right now. I waited 2 cycles for my daughter and she was very healthy; a lot of women on here have conceived right away and had perfectly healthy babies as well, so I think it's up to you. I'm so sorry for your loss, you will find peace again...hang in there :)
