if you had d & c......were you awake or asleep

i had an abortion when i was 15 (my moms decision not mine) and i remember being awake!!! it was so painful............

I no for a m/c most dr's will put you under, I was put under when i had a m/c last june.

Now in the event a person has an abortion, wheather they do a D&C or D&E you have a choice to be put under or awake, bcuz the cost is different, (cost more to be put to sleep)

I just had one a week ago and I was put all the way under with a general.  They were saying sometimes they do not put you out all the way... I think it's called a twilight anasthetic, but you would think you were all the way under anyway because you would be so out of it.
