What did you take for you sinus infection? Im doing the steaming thing but nothing is budging it.next stop is the docs I guess.x
I have an identical story actually.
I am on my fourth pregnancy and miscarried 6 months ago as well.
I'm am 13 and 4 days.
Been really sick. Just got over a sinus infection. But seem to still have cold symptoms.
They told orange juice try and boost up my immune system natural. But i hate orange juice. But the have these cough drop.type things that are vitamin c supplements. So i just got some and hope they help. And lots of herbal tea with honey :)
Also a humidifier and vapor bath (I just use a baby vapor bath shampoo/wash) and close the door of the bathroom and shower curtain and run really hot water and steam myself out with the vapor, it always helps me!
Well during pregnancy your immune system is weakened, especially during flu season you're more likely to get sick, I know my doctor told me robitussen and sudafed were safe to take, and it will pass as this darn winter season passes! I had my son in july so was pregnant much of the winter and was actually sick quite often.
I dont have an answer either but hopefully someone will.
My best answer would be see with ur pharmacist what is safe to take with pregnancy and to give urself a lottle mental bost you can always get those countdown apps and have it coutdown for eveything important (drs appt, u/s) always cheers me up. And also buy yourself a little something. Hubby n i just found out we are having a boy yesterday so today were going to buy his very first outfit :) start thinking of room decor and see if theres little arts and crafts you can do. Maybe also get the other kids involved and try not to think of how much it ***** to be sick lol (it may work it may not. Doesnt always work for me but it sure cheers me up)
Good luck momma! And congrats on ur little bundle of joy!
Yes, I'm 17 weeks and have been really sick the entire time. Between the swine flu, a kidney infection, severe nausea, and fainting spells, I have been miserable! I heard a b12 vitamin may help but I would talk to your doctor before taking them. Good luck! :)
Bump--sorry I don't have an answer to your question but I hope someone can and you'll feel better! Congrats on your little one btw :)
