My doctor told me regular strength tylenol is okay :)
you can only take tylenol because the other ones like advil, asprin, and ibuprofen has blood thinners in it and doctors dont want you to take those because it thins the blood to the baby and they dont want that to happen. tylenol is the only thing just the normal strength though.
Aspirin and ibuprofen (the main ingredient in Advil) are not recommended during pregnancy. Tylenol or store brand equivalent, as directed on the label, is the only safe OTC pain reliever. Water is a must so it doesn't upset the stomach or cause constipation. Hope you find relief soon.
I had a tooth pulled when I was 7 weeks I'm 8 now but doc ok'd lortab 5 she told me they prescribe it to pregnant women often u just have to take one every 8 hours nd make sure u stay hydrated because of constipation had an u/s 3 days ago and baby is a-ok good heart beat and growing just fine :-)
The only pain medication you can safely take is tylenol..anything else would have to be ok'd by ur doc..I would even ok the tylenol with ur doc since ur still in 1st trimester..= )
Dr.s usually suggest tylenol. You can even take like extra strength tylenol... But since you're only ten weeks I would ask your Dr. Before you take anything.
