hey i was wondering ? i went to my obgyn on 11/14 and they took a pregnacy test and it came back negtive .. the dr sent me to get some blood work done tuesday ... can i be pregnant even though i had a negative urine test??? can u actually have a positive blood test??

trying43 is exactly right, there's a few reasons to have a neg urine test.. another is if you're too early for their to be enough hCG in your urine.. Also, in very rare cases there are a few women who for some reason, never test positive on a urine test.. best wishes

Yes u can be.  Ur urine test can come out negative esp if its later in the day because fluid intake will dilute the amount of hcg in the urine.  So a blood test is more accurate.  Good luck
