implantation bleeding?

I am 22 and live in the UK. I have been taking microgynon 30 (contraceptive pill) but have missed quite a few from my last pack, my husband and i did not use a condom as we dont mind having children (we already have 2). I was due to start my period on the 6th may but i got nothing till the 9th May when i went to the loo and wiped, there was a little pinkish blood on the toilete roll with a bit of sticky creamy discharge, i thought my period was starting so i put on a sanitary towel but an hour or so later when i went for a pee again there was nothing on the sanitary towel but still on the toilete roll when i wiped with the same discharge, however the next time i went to the loo there was nothing! then on the 10th i started again and the same happened again, then again on the 11th then on the 12th there was nothing at all! I was wondering if this could be implatation bleeding or if it is more likely to be my hormoans as my period is usually very regular and lasts 4 days and is very heavy from the time i notice. And if it is implantation bleeding, how long should it be before i test positive on a home pregnancy test? will i have to wait till my next period is due?

Your help would be much appreciated as i am slightly confused as i have had tender breasts now and then and do seem to be peeing a lot more now even when i dont drink a lot.

it could be implantaion bleeding and if you were supposed to start on the 6th and only had spotting on the 9th then you can test now....if its negative wait a few days to 2 weeks and test again ! BEST OF LUCK!

Sounds like you should test now.

Many women experience a small amount of bleeding at the time they would have had their period, and then after the first missed period their hormones become strong enough to prevent any more bleeding.

If I were you I would test now.
