So I went into L&D last night for cramping, back pain and vagibal bleeding and when they were questioning me they asked if I've ever taken any illegal Narcotic's. I said no because I haven't. The lady then said the reason she asked is because they had done a ton screen on me a while back and found some in my system and asked if I had taken any pain meds that aren't legal on the street. I said no, that the only time I had taken anything other than Tylenol was went i went to the ER for my ankle after my car wreck, and she asked me when that was and I told her November 1st. That they said I could have whatever pain med they were giving me because it was mostly the same ingredients as Tylenol. She said okay that was most likely it, she just had to ask. Is there a reason I should be concerned? I was handed a pain med from my doctor and now being accused of taking illegal drugs...WHILE PREGNANT... I'm scared they are gonna try to take my baby away when he is born....should I be?

I been sick for 4weeks. I been taking over the counter pain meds and advil benadryl to get over my sickness once I took kids nyquil jst cause I was so much pain and needed sleep which I told the med assistant. While they say I been taking drugs

It's not a bad idea to take the papers with you to the hospital in case this comes up again.

Since you have documentation that you were prescribed the pain killer that they found in your system,  you are fine.

Okay. I mean I have all the documentation with me still stating what they gave me and what not. Should I take that with me when I go have him?

Proscription Tylenol has op in it it will make you test positive for op  if your doc gave it to you you are fine they used my first baby tested positive when I had him and then I showed them where I cracked my rib and the Dr gave me prosecution Tylenol and they toldme that is what it was

You will be fine since if the meds were given to you at a hospital it'll be in your records and they will be able to see that. I wouldn't worry about it.
