Glad to hear everything was okay........Keep in mind that CM does sometimes smell sweet. Like you, I thought I was leaking too. My panties would be wet, but they checked me and I was fine. If your sac ruptures from the bottom it will be a gush and just a trickle if it's from the top. When I went to see my Dr about this, he had a womans sac that ruptured and she went all weekend without seeing him because she didn't want to be a "pest". She had an appt with him that Monday and he sent her right to the hospital where she didn't deliver until 4 days later. He shared this story, because I felt like I was being one when I went in. It's a good thing you did for peace of mind.

I am glad to know that you are ok. The 1 hr test does suck but I can think of a lot more things that taste worse... Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers

thanks alot am back i wasnt leakin fluids my cervix is still close but i was contracting the nurse and doctor kept askin me if i feel pain the only pain i felt is my back hurtin they also gave me IV fluids i go tomorrow to my 1 hr and sonogram right now am 28wks 4 days by my last period am off to bed got to go drink that nasty suff tomorrow

I know a woman who had her baby at 28 weeks. The link is listed in my journal, I believe the 2nd journal entry. Her baby is doing great and wonderful. It is taking a lot of hard work but there is so much technology. Hopefully your little one decides to stay in a wee bit longer, though!!!

GO IN. The good news is there's a good chance your baby would servive if born this early. Sure it's over 2 mo, but it's not SUPER SUPER early, ya know?

most websites Ive read say that anmiotic fluid is very sweet smelling so i would go get this checked asap

thanks my doc is on vacation am only 28 wks my panties were wet and smell sweet and fruity am gettin ready to go labor and delivery i have a previous post where i mention my back is killin me and i feel as though am in labor or goin into labor i call Labor and Deliver near to me so am goin to get check

Yeah, you need to go in. Call your doctor first, let them know what's going on, then do as they request of you. You may have to go to Labor and Delivery right away. If your bag ruptured you risk getting an infection and baby must be delivered within 24 hours.

When your water breaks it doesn't always come in a gush. Baby's head acts as a plug and so you can leak just little bits at a time.

mine didn't really have a smell...if you think you may be leaking fluid or your bag ruptured you need to get seen immediately.

I've read that it can have a sweet smell.  I would get it checked.  Hope everything turns out okay.
