My due date is September 17th, but will have a c section scheduled at my next appointment as I have had c sections with both my other two children. So I will be working up until the day before they are going to do the surgery. That is unless this one decides its gonna be sooner than that, which I doubt just because I went over due with both my other two. :-)

I am a teacher and I have worked up until the day before birth with all three of mine... I wish I didn't have to but I would rather take the time after they are born.. have taken a year off with all

I plan on working right up until the end unless something happens and I can't.  So far so good-I'm due June 8.  I'm only getting 5 weeks off and I want the most time I can have left to be with my baby.  But my job is not strenuous; it's a desk job.  So I'm not lifting anything or moving around a lot.  All the sitting is murder on my swollen feet and ankles, though.  I try to get up and move around sometimes and drink plenty of water.

yeah, i understand!!

My boss, wanted her new nanny to start kind of early so that was part of the reason.. I plan on doing random sitting jobs through out the summer though.

Same for me luvmy2girls, gotta pay the bills. I'm not due until Dec 9th but I plan on working until they tell me I can't. I'm having my 2nd c-section so hopefully everything will go as planned and I won't be off work that long. I think as long as your health and the baby's health are okay then working until your due date is fine. It's just when you have complications. I wish you the best of luck with your busy schedule.

My due date is July 16th which is a Wednesday.  I plan on being done with work the Friday before which is July 11th (also my daughter's birthday).  That's plan atleast for now assuming nothing happens sooner.  It sucks but I have to work to pay the bills ya know?
