is it normal for a period to start a week later?

so me and my hubby have been ttc for a year now. i thought this would be the month, my period was late, 8 days. got so excited only to wake up this morning, and there AF was. Really dissapointed. I had no period symptoms like before, no cravings, no pimples, no sore boobs. And my period is 8 days late. Started this morning. Is this normal? Im so stressed out.

its started with spotting, got really heavy and now its light. Ive decided to make peace with the fact that i might probably have only one child. And i have to appreciate her even more now. But thanks anyway. I was just so shocked, i have never been late on a period, not a even a day, doesnt matter if i was sick, stressed out or not even eating.

it happens sometimes, the women body is so sensitive to anything, weather, emotions, food,,,, all may affect your period. but how was it?? was the flow normal, heavy, or just spotting??

sorry for the disappointment you got, hope it will get better this coming cycle.
