is it normal to have a low HR?

ok i had an ultrasound and they said i was 6weeks based on my LMP on the ultrasound it said it was one day off there was still no heartrate. they said dont worry come back i went in today now im 8 weeks and 2 days and there was a heart of 79 and it was giving a measurment of 6wks 8days. i asked him what to expect he said i cant tell you nothing at this point there is nothing you can do to change this come back in teo wks im so scared i dont know what to think :(

I'm sorry you are having to go through this.  I have had 2 D&C's and they are not easy. It's the emotional part that gets you mostly. You just have to remember it is NOT your fault. And the biggest thing is that nothing anyone says is going to make you feel better about this. I didn't want to hear anything or be around anyone except my DH who really didn't understand how I was feeling. But just stay strong and I'm sure youl'l have a healthy pregnancy before you know it!

Thanks for the response! I did end up having a miscarriage and a d and c on Tuesday! This is such a painful time right now and I don't just mean physically! I really wish this would never happen to anyone it's really hard to go thru!

Ive read that a heart beat lower than 90 means the mother is at high risk for miscarriage. I dont know how accurate this is and im not trying to scare you. I to have had 2 mc's. But hopefully you will be fine and so will your little munchkin. try not to worry. Just wait and see what happens when you go back.
