Ok so ive got a dentist appointment tomorrow to have a cavity filled and just found out I'm pregnant is it safe to still have it filled ?

I had 7 cavities filled and a deep cleaning wen I was like 4 months pregnant. Jus no x rays. I asked my Dr and dentist and it was fine

I had a temporary filling put in without Xray when I was about 10 weeks. Dentist couldn't do a perminant filling as there is risk of me inhaling dust containing mercury as he would have had to drill out the old filing. Def tell them you're pregnant - they will know what that can / can't or even willing to do. Good luck x

You shouldn't have any exraze or work done yhuu can let dem clean the that's all

I had a root canal done. Its ok to have novicane. And when they do an xray make sure they double up the vests. Make sure to n let your dentist know. But you should be fine.

Most dentists don't like working on pregnant patients because they believe its too much of a risk. Call your doctor first then call the dentist and fill them in.

No you should ask your dr first before you do anything to your teeth.
